In short: Kju Relay Stage Timer runs entirely on your own devices. It has no server, no cloud, no account, and no internet connection. It collects no personal information, contains no analytics or advertising, and sends nothing off your devices.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Kju Relay Stage Timer app ("Kju Relay Stage Timer", "the app", "we") handles information. By using Kju Relay Stage Timer you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Kju Relay Stage Timer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. We have no servers and never receive your data.

Data stored on your device

The events (running orders) you create are saved only on your device, in the app's own local storage. They are never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app removes this data.

Data shared between your own devices

Kju Relay Stage Timer connects your iPad and iPhones directly to each other over Apple's MultipeerConnectivity (local Wi-Fi and Bluetooth), which encrypts the connection. When you pair devices, the following is exchanged only between your paired devices, over that encrypted local connection, and never with us or any third party:

Device name - the label you set for a device, shown to other devices when pairing.
Show data - the running order, timer state, and any cue messages you send.
Battery level - a stage display's battery percentage and whether it is charging, so the operator can see backstage if a display is about to run out.

This information stays on the local connection between your devices and is not sent over the internet.

Permissions

Local Network - used to discover and connect nearby devices for your show.
Bluetooth - used as an alternative way to discover and connect devices when Wi-Fi is unavailable.

These permissions are used solely to connect your devices to one another. They are not used to identify you, track you, or gather data.

Third-party services

Kju Relay Stage Timer contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising, and no analytics. No data is shared with, or sold to, anyone.

Children's privacy

Kju Relay Stage Timer does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is not directed at children and gathers no data regardless of the user's age.

Data retention and deletion

Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. All app data lives on your device; removing the app deletes everything it stored.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
